Melt Blown’s 4-zone technology allows the larger particles to be trapped in the outer most layers. The inner most layer is where the true efficiency rating is achieved. PureT sediment removal water filter cartridges are highly effective in removing dirt, rust, sand, silt, algae and fine particles from water. This cartridge does best in temperatures BELOW 150°F.
